Long-term and Short-term Observers
Long-term and short-term observers are usually seconded to the ODIHR by OSCE participating States. Should you wish to become a long- or a short-term observer, please contact your respective OSCE delegation in Vienna or your Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition, if you are a citizen of one of the following countries -- Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine-- you may be eligible to participate as a long- or short-term observer through a project to increase participation of observers from these OSCE participating States.
